These designs were part of an exercise on type hierarchy. I chose a topic I was interested in and modeled my designs after a magazine as it fit with the content. I was restrained to black and white  on 11x17” paper. I broke my content down into a title, image, pull quote, and article. I learned about composition with large blocks of text, typesetting, and got more familiar with InDesign.
